This DA rise would pay Dearness Allowance arrears from January to June in three payments, according to the directive. The CM stated that all Madhya Pradesh state government workers will get a proportional dearness allowance hike under the sixth pay grade.

The CM said:

Our government is always employee-friendly. We made numerous groundbreaking employee-focused choices. We will offer state workers 42% dearness allowance in line with the Centre starting January, as I indicated recently. Dearness allowance arrears will be paid in three equal payments from January to June 2023.

The Dearness Allowance will rise proportionally for sixth-payscale workers. In 2014, we gave 30-year-old workers third-time scale compensation. We also resolved to grant the fourth pay scale to all 35-year-old veterans by July 1, 2023.
