29 August, Srinagar: Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, Kashmir’s divisional commissioner, said on Tuesday that the city’s streets will soon be macadamized.
According to Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, the problem of installing sewage lines in certain downtown locations was previously a concern. This has already been resolved, and the streets in these regions will soon have black top applied.
Because of the small roadways in the downtown neighbourhoods, he said that officials avoid routine monitoring of ongoing construction. However, I can promise you that everything is proceeding as planned, said Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Bidhuri.
Lal Chowk in the city’s core will be improved, according to Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, to draw in more and more tourists. “Once Lal Chowk will be made beautiful, people will forget Polo-View,” he said.
