The army conducts a picnic for schoolchildren in Kupwara

Kupwara, July 24: The Army sponsored a picnic for pupils of My New School on Monday at Saran viewpoint in Khumriyal Kupwara.

Around 197 students, as well as the teaching staff and the principal of Higher Secondary School Khumriyal, attended the picnic.

The picnic began with an introduction to the broad area of perspective to kids from classes 5th and 6th, after which the pupils enthusiastically engaged in various sports. Students competed in Karaoke and dance contests with enthusiasm, showcasing their skills.

“Students enjoyed the natural view, games, and other activities such as boating and were really thankful to the Indian Army for organising picnics and more such outings and picnics in the future,” according to the official handout.
