Srinagar, Oct. 14: Ghulam Hassan Mir, senior vice president of the Apni Party, was briefed on the problems and challenges caused by recent instructions given by the management of the Cable Car Corporation by a group of Gulmarg tour guides and other important stakeholders on Saturday.

The second segment of the gondola (cable car) is now off-limits to tour guides who are accompanying passengers under the new rules since they are there to assist tourists. Additionally, those no longer eligible for free tickets for their movements while offering tourist services at this renowned ski resort are ski instructors and professional photographers. said in a news statement.

The delegation, which was made up of tour operators and other interested parties, met with Ghulam Hassan Mir and informed him that the new guidelines issued by the Cable Car Corporation’s management are severely impacting their ability to provide for their living while also serving tourists. They argued that the former arrangement, which gave ski instructors and photographers permits and gave tour guides free rides to the second gondola phase, should be reinstated.
