The DDC instructed the ARTO and the Traffic Department to launch special campaigns and impose strong fines against traffic offenders in response to the district’s alarmingly high number of traffic accidents. All commuters in Rajouri were to benefit from a safer atmosphere, it was stressed.

The Regional Transport Authority decided to bring in more cars in the future as part of its commitment to enhancing road safety. This tactical choice tries to allay overloading worries and provide locals and tourists alike more practical transit alternatives.

The DDC requested the regulatory body to hasten the introduction of services and keep a close eye out for problems like overloading, overcharging, and irregular vehicle movement in order to guarantee the prompt execution of the authorised route permits. The district’s commitment to placing commuter safety above everything else is shown by this proactive strategy.
