Srinagar, October 20: The National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) will conduct required repair work at Dhalwas during a 24-hour “Traffic Dry Day” on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.

According to a statement released here by an official spokesman, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic, Srinagar-Jammu National Highway, an advisory issued in this regard states that due to a communication from the Public Works (R&B) Department and a necessary order issued by District Magistrate Ramban, there would be a 24-hour “Traffic Dry Day” on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway starting at midnight on October 21 and 22, 2023.

According to the traffic advisory, as a result of District Magistrate Ramban’s directive, no light motor vehicle (LMV) or heavy vehicle—aside from medical emergency vehicles—will be permitted to travel between Navyuga Tunnel and Nashri Tunnel or vice versa from midnight on October 21 and 22, 2023, to midnight on October 22 and 23, 2023.
