From 08-03-2024 1700hrs to 09-03-2024, 1700 hrs , there was slow movement observed on NH-44 due to breakdown 0f 02 HNVs and single lane traffic at dalwas, Mehad-cafeteria, Panthyal, Nachlana, Gangroo, Hingi, Kishtiwari Pather etc.
In the view of widening of carriageway to 2 lanes at Dalwas and other places on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH-44). Decision regarding the vehicular movement on NH-44 shall be taken later, but as of now people are advised not to undertake journey on Jammu-Srinagar NHW between Nashri and NAVYUG Tunnel till the restoration work is completed and surface is traffic worthy, please ask TCU for latest updates.
