Sopore, October 14: DIG NKR Baramulla, working under the auspices of the Civic Action Programme 2023–24 Wheelchairs were handed out by Vivek Gupta to people with disabilities in the Baramulla region of north Kashmir.
SSP Sopore Shabir Nawab, SSP Baramulla Amod Nagpure, SSP Bandipora Lakshay Sharma, SDPO Sopore Dr. Raies Ahmad, DYSP DAR Sopore Dr. Hilal Ahmad, and other police authorities from police district Sopore were present during the distribution event.
At the time, DIG NKR Baramulla engaged with every individual with a disability and gave them the assurance that Jammu and Kashmir Police will always play a part in offering the most assistance to those in need. According to him, in the future, police would provide assistance to those in need as part of civic activity.
DIG North Kashmir delivered 25 wheelchairs to the recipients from the three northern districts of Baramulla, Bandipora, and Kupwara.
