In New Delhi: Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, said on Thursday that news organisations might also get a portion of X’s advertising income.

After compensating creators via his X advertising income plan, the owner of X has now presented a new method for media outlets to gain money in his latest effort to win over journalists.

Organisations (news or otherwise) who want to join in our advertising revenue sharing plan also apply, he said in his article.

The billionaire began removing headlines and text from news pieces posted on the site on Tuesday, at which point he offered writers to publish directly on X (previously Twitter) and receive a better compensation.

In postings featuring news stories on X, the title, body content, and links were stripped off, leaving just the main picture and the URL.

“I’m saying this right now. Will significantly enhance the aesthetics, Musk said in a post.
