A 22-year-old male was discovered deceased under suspicious circumstances

Officials in Srinagar said on Thursday that the corpse of a 22-year-old man was found in the Mendhar area hamlet of Dhargloon under suspicious circumstances.

After 11:30 PM on May 24, authorities in the area discovered the corpse of Mohammad Yaseer Khan, the son of Mohammad Naseer Khan. They said that the person ran a local ready-to-wear store.

Gursai GNS was notified by Farooq Ahmad, the Station House Officer in Gursai, that the corpse had been located and would be returned to the family following a necropsy. He also said that an inquest had been opened. (GNS)
