A baby has drowned in Shopian

An 18-month-old daughter drowned on Friday, June 9th, in the Feeripora neighbourhood of Shopian, according to reports from Srinagar.
The infant girl was reported missing from her Feeripora home around 3 p.m.

After the story spread, the neighbours went looking for her, and around two hours later, they discovered her death in a canal not far from her house.

She is known to be Zoya Bilal, the daughter of Shopian resident Bilal Ahmad Dar from the town of Feeripora.
