Srinagar, June 17: Baserah Mehraj, who lives in the Noorbagh neighbourhood of Srinagar, has been in the news for her amazing accomplishments. Not only did she do well on the difficult NEET 2023 test, but she also did something very impressive: she learned the Holy Qur’an by heart. Baserah’s achievements have not only made her family very proud, but they have also made people in the community look up to her and praise her.

Her father, Mehraj Ahmad, was happy and thankful for what she had done, and he talked about how important it was to have a good education and spiritual dedication. He said, “We are so proud and happy that we can’t stand it. Baserah has worked hard at both her schoolwork and her faith schooling. It shows how important balance is and how much possibility it can open up.”

Baserah’s path to success started in 2019 when she finished learning the Holy Qur’an at a neighbourhood Madrasa. She didn’t let the difficult requirements of this success stop her from studying, and in the end, she did very well on the NEET 2023 test.

Baserah talked to GKWEBTV about why she thinks it’s important to keep a mix between religion and secular schooling. She said, “It is very important to find a balance between what our faith teaches and what we learn in schools and universities.” Both of these things shape who we are and how we see the world.
Baserah’s teacher, Suhail Salim, spoke highly of her academic skills and personality. He said, “Baserah is an excellent student who has always done well in her classes. Her hard work and desire to learn are really admirable. She is an example of how hard work and persistence can pay off.

As word spread through Kashmir about Baserah’s amazing successes, people came together to praise her. Her story has become a source of hope and motivation for young students, showing that it is possible to do well in school and in spiritual matters.
