10 July, Jammu: Dr. Pratik Kumar, an assistant professor in the Civil Engineering Department at the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu, has been named an Associate Editor of the Journal of Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste. The prestigious American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) has given its approval.

This is his second Associate Editor appointment this year, further demonstrating the high regard in which he is held by his peers.

Dr. Kumar joined Springer Publisher earlier this year as an Associate Editor for their journal, Nanotechnology in Environmental Engineering. His academic achievements and dedication to furthering research in their respective fields are highlighted by these positions.

Research, planning, development, and management of hazardous, toxic, and radioactive waste (HTRW) are all covered in the original papers published in the Journal of Hazardous, Toxic, and Radioactive Waste. Research, design, control, restoration/remediation, building, planning, detection/analysis, oversight/management, operations, regulations, and policy are all examples of these more conventional domains.
