Srinagar, June 27: On the Shalimar campus, the Women at Workplace Central Committee (WWCC) of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir taught people about the rules against abuse.

The goal of the event was to teach workers about the different kinds of sexual abuse, how to file reports, and the law. Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. MAA Siddique, who was the main speaker at the event, talked about gender rights from an Islamic point of view. He emphasised that in Islam, there is no tolerance for crimes against women. Advocate Masooda talked about the laws and rules about women being harassed at work. In her speech, she focused on changes that should be made at the family level to keep the role of older women in running important social and cultural matters.

In her opening comments, Prof. Shaheen Gul, Chairperson of the WAWCC, greeted the guests and teachers. She talked about how women help make society better and how important it is for the group to fight against the bad things that happen to women. The staff members took an active role in engaging meetings and asked a variety of questions about women in the workplace.
