When the car they were riding in fell into a deep gorge at Targain village in the Budhal area of Rajouri district, two people died and three others were hurt.
An officer with the police said that the accident happened around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday when a car going from Targain to Samote fell into a deep gorge at Targain town.

Two people died at the scene of the accident, a police source said. They were Shah Jahan, the wife of Mohammad Nazir, and Shenaz Akhter, the wife of Mohammad Altaf Shah.
Ayoub Shah, son of Nabi Shah, Akbar Shah, son of Mehandi Shah, and a baby girl who is 10 months old have all been hurt.
The hurt people have been sent from CHC Kandi to GMC Associated Hospital Rajouri. Their health is said to be very bad.
