After a brief exchange of fire, militants escape from the Scene: Shopian gunfight

After a brief gunfight on Wednesday, militants escaped the sights of government forces in Chakoora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district. A top police officer indicated that a brief exchange of firing had occurred and after it ceased, searches were intensified at the suspected spot but no militant was spotted, perhaps taking advantage of the darkness.
