Banihal, September 21: On Thursday, the Army held a medical and veterinary camp near Chanjloo Banihal. The AYUSH medical professionals, the Sub District Hospital, the Government Veterinary Centre in Banihal, and the IQRA labs worked with the Army to establish the camp.
The camp’s free medical and veterinary services were accessible to people and animals from outlying regions of Banihal. There were experts available who could diagnose and treat a variety of ailments, from skin infections to digestive issues. They gave prescriptions for more severe diseases and sent patients to specialised clinics.
The camp had a clinic as well as a location for a blood testing laboratory. This helped with the early identification of medical conditions, enabling earlier detection and better treatment for both people and animals. Additionally, it provided a chance to spread knowledge about the value of preventative healthcare.
