Remedial Classes and a Faculty Mentor System are both New at NIT Srinagar

Srinagar’s Department of Physics, National Institute of Technology (NIT Srinagar), and ITT Delhi held a one-day training and hands-on practise on virtual labs on campus on Wednesday.

The Ministry of Education, GOI started the Virtual Labs project, which is part of the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT). Twelve schools are working on this project, and IIT Delhi is in charge of putting it all together.

Director of NIT Srinagar Prof. (Dr.) Sudhakar Yedla was the Chief Guest at the event and led the first part of the training. At the giant class, a lot of kids from Baramulla and other areas took part.

Dr. M. A. Shah (Head of Department of Physics), Er Prateek Sharma, Sr. Field Officer, IIT Delhi, Prof. GM Rather, Prof. Prince Ganai, Prof. Mohd. Ikram, Prof. Seemin Rubab, Dr.Vijay Kumar, Dr. Mohd Zubair Ansari (Coordinator Virtual Lab NIT Srinagar), and Dr. Harkirat Singh were also at the event.
