Budgam’s Darul Uloom mosque was destroyed in a fire

Budgam, Central Kashmir, June 17 A Darul Uloom building was destroyed by fire.

A fire, according to official reports, started in the structure early on Saturday morning.

The structure was already destroyed by the time fire trucks arrived.

The Kathipora Chattargam neighbourhood of Budgam is home to the seminary.

The seminary was empty of students at the time of the fire, according to official sources.

The police have taken the matter within their jurisdiction and started an investigation.
