On Friday, stray dogs attacked at least 11 people in the Chandoosa region of Baramulla, a district in north Kashmir, injuring three children.

Reports indicate that eleven people, including three children, were bitten and wounded by stray dogs in the hamlet of Chandoosa in the district of Baramulla.

It said that the wounded were sent to a local medical facility.

Twelve people, including three children aged 5 to 8, were sent to the hospital after suffering dog bites, according to Dr. Naseer, the Block Medical Officer (BMO) of Sheeri.

BMO said that the wounded were no longer in risk after receiving treatment, which included vaccinations.

Meanwhile, residents have pleaded with authorities to do something about the growing problem of stray dogs.
