Four cars were taken into custody in Baramulla for the unlawful transfer of minerals

Today, July 4, in Baramulla, police have confiscated four cars and detained four people in an effort to take a hard stance against those who are engaged in the unlawful extraction and transportation of minerals.

At Chakloo Baramulla, a police team commanded by the SHO of the Police Station in Baramulla and under the direction of the DySP Hqrs in Baramulla Altaf was able to capture 4 Tippers and arrest 4 drivers for their participation in the unlawful extraction and transportation of minerals. The individuals who have been named as the accused drivers are as follows: Ab Majeed Lone, a resident of Zenipora Bomai Sopore; Shabir Ahmad Dar, a resident of Jal Sheeri; Gh Nabi Khan, a resident of Khanpora Baramulla; and Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, a resident of Khawajabagh Baramulla.

As a result, a case was opened at the Police Station in Baramulla under the applicable provisions of the law, and an investigation was initiated.

“Persons discovered to be participating in unlawful mining operations will be dealt with in accordance with the law. The members of the community were asked to provide their respective police units with any information they may have on criminal activity in their neighbourhoods, the police stated.
