On the 16th anniversary of Haji Buland Khan’s death, Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari offered glowing honours to the senior Gujjar politician and former lawmaker.
The Apni Party’s Vice President, Aijaz Ahmad Khan, and the party’s senior leader and former lawmaker, Mumtaz Khan, were also there.
Bukhari said in his statement, “Haji Buland Khan was one of the most popular and towering leaders that Jammu and Kashmir has ever had.” He dedicated his whole life to helping the oppressed and disenfranchised members of society. He was a messiah for our society’s ignored class, and his extraordinary contribution will be remembered for all time.”
“Although Haji Buland Khan succeeded in ensuring equal opportunities and rights for the neglected classes of society, to a large extent, his mission remains unfinished, and it is now our collective responsibility to carry forward his unfinished mission,” he said. Apni Party is totally devoted to completing the acclaimed leader’s unfinished business, he said.
