Jammu, May 23: The Smart City Project’s development progress in Jammu was assessed.

Ramesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner, presided over a meeting today to examine work on the beautifying project of the approach road to Bahu Fort and the development of facilities in the Bahu Fort area.

The meeting was attended by Avny Lavasa, Deputy Commissioner Jammu; Vivekanand Rai, Director Tourism; Rahul Yadav, CEO Jammu Smart City Limited; VC JDA, Director Floriculture, SSP Traffic, Chief Engineers of JPDCL, Jal Shakti, and top executives from Fisheries and other related Departments.

Several projects have already been completed, including the construction of a musical fountain and a Light & Sound Show at Bahu Fort, while work on the Oceanarium at Bagh-e-Bahu and the Entry gate at Harki Pouri is ongoing.

In addition, substantial work has been made on the Junction Improvement Project’s beautifying of the approach road to Bahu Fort, as well as the building of pathways, drains, and premixing of the approach road.
