Kashmiri schools have officially begun their summer holiday

Jammu winter zone schools will get a 10-day summer break beginning July 3

The School Education Department (SED) made the announcement on Saturday, June 24 that all public and private schools in Srinagar up to and including class 12 would be closed beginning July 1.

On Saturday, the Director of School Education in Kashmir (DSEK) issued the directive in question.

“It is hereby ordered that all government educational institutions and private recognised schools upto higher secondary level operating in Kashmir division shall observe summer vacation from July 01, 2023, to July 10, 2023,” states the directive.
