On his third try, Inayat Ullah Bhat of Yenhima Lar, Ganderbal, passed the National Eligibility and Enrollment Test (NEET). After losing his father in a sad accident in 2018, Inayat had to overcome several obstacles on his way to passing the NEET test. Overall, Inayat had a 656/720 rating. Inayat said to Greater Kashmir, “I did my schooling at Qamaria educational institute Ganderbal, and then took admission in New Dreamland school Ganderbal for 11th and 12th.” He credits his parents and educators for helping him become successful. Inayat said that he prepared mostly via independent study and the use of internet resources.

Khanan villager Rayees Ahmed Magray of Kangan has made a name for himself because to his diligence and perseverance. Rayees scored a 622 out of a possible 720. The outcome is the product of one’s efforts, he remarked. What’s more, “my consistent hard work from the beginning proved fruitful,” he said. According to Rayees, all it takes to succeed in school is six or seven hours of study every day.

Abid Mushtaq Dar, a native of Ganderbal district’s Sehpora village, passed the NEET examinations on his third try. His motivation for studying medicine was altruistic; he wanted to help the people of his rural community. Abid’s house is swarmed by well-wishers who want to share in the family’s joy at their good fortune. Abid attended both the Government Boys Higher Secondary School in Ganderbal and the Hanfia Islamia Model School. According to Abid, “It is my third attempt as I couldn’t make it to qualify, adding that after earlier two droppers i didn’t stop and with the improvement i continued my studies and the results are here.” The internet blackout and other circumstances, such as COVID-19, hampered his preparation for the NEET this year.

Masrat Bashir, a student from the Tulmulla village region of the Ganderbal district, also passed NEET on her second try, with a score of 554 out of 720. Masrat is a bright student and a respectful daughter who aspired to follow in her parents’ footsteps and become a doctor. Her dad, a carpenter by trade, couldn’t be happier for her. Masrat acknowledges his parents, educators, and supporters as “key contributors” to his accomplishments. She thinks that anybody with enough motivation could pass the test.

Available data also suggests that Suhail Ahmed Rather, a resident of Kangan, Obaid Amin, a resident of Batwina, and Zahid Ahmed, a resident of Chek Fatehpora, all passed the NEET.
