New Delhi, June 15: The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) announced on Thursday that the Asia Cup 2023 will have a mixed format. Pakistan will host four of the 13 games, while Sri Lanka will host the other nine.

From August 31 to September 17, 2023, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Nepal will play 13 exciting ODIs. In a formal statement, the ACC announced the times and said that there will be two groups in the game, with two teams from each group making it to the Super Four stage. The final will be between the top two teams from the Super Four stage.

“We’re excited to say that the Asia Cup 2023 will take place from September 31 to October 17, 2023. The best teams from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and Nepal will play 13 exciting ODI matches.”

The event will be held in a mixed way, with four games in Pakistan and the other nine in Sri Lanka. This was revealed by the ACC in a statement.

“There will be two groups in the 2023 race, and two teams from each group will make it to the Super Four stage. The final will be between the top two teams from the Super Four stage.”

“We can’t wait to see cricket fans from all over the world at this celebration of the sport at its best,” it said.

The ACC has not yet said where and when the games will be held.
