Protesters in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) on May 31 demanded the release of the remaining funds from the Joint Parliamentary Committee’s proposed package.

Since our office is again open, Yudhvir Singh Chib hopes that the 5.5 million rupees worth of papers that have been held up thus far may be released.

He thanked the government for reopening the DP office and pressed for the allocation of Rs 24.5 lakhs for the PoJK DP, as was suggested by the JPC.
