Srinagar, June 11: In a first of its kind, Art of Living and JK Water Sports Kayaking and Canoeing Association held a session called “India meditates” in the Sonamarg Ganderbal meadows to commemorate 75 years of independence as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahoutsav.

Aside from mental health awareness, the primary goal of the programme was to teach and train J&K youth to deal with stressful and challenging situations at various stages of life, as well as to assist young minds in internalising meditation in their lives for improved health, peace, happiness, and becoming aware of their inner latent potential.
