Two people have been detained for kidnapping and raping a little child in Srinagar

Two suspects in the abduction and rape of a 13-year-old girl in the Maisuma neighbourhood of Srinagar have been apprehended by the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

Police announced the arrests on Twitter: “Two accused namely: Sahil Javid S/o Javid Sodagar R/o Ganpatyar Habakadal, and Sahil Yousuf S/o Yousuf Dar R/o Nai Sadak Habakadal, arrested for abducting & raping a minor girl (13 yrs) of Maisuma.”

There was a “FIR no 11/2023 u/s 363,376 DA of IPC & sec 5,6 of POCSO act at Maisuma PS(sic),” the police wrote.
