After ten weeks, Friday prayers are performed at Jamia Masjid Srinagar

Srinagar, December 22: After ten weeks, the congregational Friday prayers were held at the famed Jamia Masjid in Srinagar.

Many devotees reportedly attended the prayers at the old mosque in downtown Srinagar, according to reports.

After more than four years of house arrest, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq was allowed to conduct the congregational Friday prayers earlier this year by the authorities.
