Ramban: On Friday night on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway, three sheep were struck by a speeding vehicle and killed, while a shepherd was critically injured.

According to the police, on Friday night, a fast vehicle (JK19 7013) travelling from Srinagar to Jammu crushed three sheep belonging to a nomad in Maroog.

According to reports, the tragedy left shepherd Junaid Ali, the son of Haji Sadiq of Hiranagar, Kathua, with serious injuries.

According to the police, emergency crews arrived on the scene after the accident and transported Junaid to District Hospital Ramban for medical attention. When a nomad was driving a herd of sheep from Kashmir towards Kathua, the mishap happened close to Maroog.
