Rajouri, September 20: A young female pupil at a Rajouri school was hospitalised following an alleged assault by a classmate.

The injured person attends a private school in the Rajouri area, and is a sixth-grader there. She went to the Associated Hospital of Government Medical College Rajouri with injuries to her neck following an alleged assault by a classmate.

The police claim that the event was reported by a private school in Thanamandi.

Police said both pupils, who are friends, were present at school at the time of the incident, and that the youngster used a sharp item to cause injuries to his classmate.

According to the police, the man suffered three stab wounds to the neck and was brought to the local municipal hospital before being transferred to the GMC Associated Hospital in Rajouri.

Currently, the victim is receiving medical care at a hospital.

Victim’s (unnamed) father said that his daughter was in school as usual when she was assaulted.As he put it, “We want legal action in the matter.”
