Significantly, after the J&K Reorganisation Act, 2019, was passed, the Union Territory of Ladakh was given ownership of a large chunk of the J&K Guest House in Chanakyapuri (CPGH), in New Delhi. Block-C of the CPGH and only 10 staff quarters were therefore kept in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

By adding another building, the total number of hotel options will increase for both regular visitors to National Capital City and UT of J&K patients.
