Jammu, 25 November: Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar, advisor to the lieutenant governor, spoke at the inaugural J&K Orthodontic Symposium today at the Radisson Blu here.
The Jammu Orthodontic Study Group, Indira Gandhi Dental College Jammu, and the Indian Orthodontic Society worked together to organize the symposium.
Speaking to the assembly, Advisor Bhatnagar said that the health sector at the University of Jammu and Kashmir has been given priority by the current LG-led administration and that great progress has been achieved in the recent few years with the construction of top-notch facilities. He emphasized that in order to serve the people with state-of-the-art medical facilities, seven new medical schools, two AIIMS, state cancer institutes, and other sophisticated health care facilities had been created here.
Advisor Bhatnagar emphasized the importance of the symposium, saying that it would provide orthodontists and other medical professionals with a valuable forum to learn about the most recent developments and best practices in the field of orthodontics. He continued by saying that orthodontics plays a critical role in improving oral health and has a wider effect on a person’s general well-being.
Throughout his speech, the advisor urged the attendees to keep up with developments in the dental sciences in order to guarantee the provision of top-notch dental care.
The advisor also opened the dental equipment and other associated medication expo during the symposium and published the J&K Orthodontic Society souvenir.
The J&K Orthodontic Symposium, which gave dentists in the area a platform to improve their abilities, exchange stories, and create a support system, was a noteworthy turning point in the field.
