New Delhi, December 3: Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said on Sunday that the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) lead in Madhya Pradesh demonstrates how Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s Ladli Behna plan for the state’s women has turned out to be a “game changer” in the elections.

The Election Commission has provided the most recent data, which shows that the BJP is leading in 160 of the 230 seats in Madhya Pradesh while the Congress is leading in 67 seats.

“I want to thank every single citizen in the state. This is the outcome of the BJP’s “double engine” administration, led by Prime Minister Modi, with assistance from JP Naddaji, Union Home Minister Amit Shahji, and party president Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The Ladli Behna plan is revolutionary, and Shivraj Singh Chouhan deserves all the credit for it, according to Scindia.

The grand old party was also targeted by Scindia, a former Congress MP who defected to the BJP in 2020, who said that his party completed the task “quietly” while the Congress was preoccupied with making Ladoos and congratulations posters.

“Congress was making ladoos, and congrats were shown on posters. He said, “While we were working quietly,

As the vote counts go, the BJP is trying to seize Chhattisgarh from the Congress party and has established a comfortable lead in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. Meanwhile, in another southern state, Telangana, the Congress is about to overthrow the BRS administration headed by K. Chandrasekhar Rao.

The 230-member Madhya Pradesh Assembly was chosen by a vote between the BJP and the Congress. The Congress, which had established a 15-month administration in 2018, was overthrown in 2020 thanks to Jyotiraditya Scindia’s 2020 defection to the BJP.

Nevertheless, in an attempt to counter the alleged anti-incumbency against Chouhan, the BJP nominated three central ministers: Faggan Singh Kulaste, Prahlad Singh Patel, and Narendra Singh Tomar.

Chouhan placed a great deal of reliance on programs for women, including the “Ladli Behna Yojana,” which pays qualified women from low-income households in the state Rs 1250 per month. Although the leaders of the BJP have said that it is consistent with the party’s efforts to empower women, the Congress has called it an electoral ploy that was put into place months before the assembly elections.

Kamal Nath, the State Congress president and a resident of Chhindwara, led with 57895 votes cast after the ninth round of counting.

Shivraj Singh Chouhan, the incumbent chief minister and BJP candidate from Budhni, has received 70453 votes so far, with a lead of 50,996 after the eighth round of counting. (ANI).
