To supervise voter registration and voter verification, representatives from the Bandipora District Administration visited these special booth camps.

Mohamad Ashraf Hakak, the Nodal Officer for Election Monitoring, visited several voting places around the country, including Sumbal, Naidkhai, Hajin, Nowgam, and Ganastan.

According to him, these camps have been put up across several Bandipora panchayats to provide inhabitants from outlying and rural locations with convenient access to the voter registration procedure.

He said that every step of the registration and verification procedure is transparent, and the officers make sure that every eligible voter has a fair opportunity to register or update their information.

The district administration’s objective, according to him, is to make the election process as inclusive and accessible as possible. He said that the government will make sure that no qualified voter is overlooked.

The district’s Gurez Subdivision has similar camps set up. In order to monitor the progress of the voter registration process in light of the second supplement to the Panchayat electoral rolls, SDM Gurez travelled to several panchayats within the Gurez Sub division.
