On Tuesday, a young girl was discovered dead at her house in the Khansahib neighbourhood in the Budgam district of central Kashmir.
A 19-year-old girl was discovered hanging at her house, an official informed the news organisation Kashmir News Observer (KNO), after which she was sent to a local hospital.

At Khansahib Hospital, he said, the medical staff immediately proclaimed her dead.
He said, “Further investigation has been started, and the body will be handed over to the family for last rites after medico-legal formalities.”—(KNO)
