Srinagar, August 29: Today, Mandeep Kaur, Commissioner Secretary for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, toured several neighbourhoods in the Harwan Block of the Srinagar district, where she inspected several Swachh Bharat Mission-Gramin (SBM-G) projects and Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) programmes.
The Commissioner Secretary was accompanied on his trip by the Director of the Rural Development Department in Kashmir, Shabir Hussain Bhat, the Assistant Commissioner of Development in Srinagar, members of the District Development Council (DDC), members of the Block Development Council (BDC), sarpanches, and other senior officers from the Rural Development department.
Dara, Faqir Gujri, New Theed, Gandtal, and Saidpora are just some of the places the Commissioner Secretary has been checking out.
