In turbulent gusts, the SDRF saves six people from Manasbal Lake

28 September, Ganderbal: The State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) rescued six people stranded in the Manasbal lake in the Ganderbal district of central Kashmir due to strong gusts.

Officials reported to the news agency Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that six people were enjoying a canoe excursion on Manasbal Lake when gusty winds abruptly arose.

“However, rapid response teams of the SDRF initiated a rescue operation and evacuated the people to safe locations,” they said. (KNO)
