Jamia Masjid’s calm Friday prayers, led by Mirwaiz, come to an end: Div Com

22 Sep, Srinagar (KNO): The congregational prayers at the revered Jamia Srinagar Masjid, which were conducted by Hurriyat Conference (M) Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, ended smoothly, according to Divisional Commissioner for Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri on Friday.

Speaking to reporters, Bidhuri said that the peaceful conclusion of prayers was the fruit of the peace process, according to the news source Kashmir News Observer (KNO). “The credit goes to the people and agencies, who took the decision after calculating the things,” he said.

He continued by saying that every person has an equal role in society and that everyone, including religious leaders, has a responsibility in the current drug epidemic—(KNO)
