Jammu: By delivering over 1028 services for residents, institutions, and commercial organisations in an online format, Jammu and Kashmir has accomplished a huge milestone and outstanding performance in e-governance.

An official spokesperson said in a statement issued here that J&K secured the top spot with an impressive 1028 e-services, surpassing Madhya Pradesh with 1010 e-services and Kerala with 911 e-services in the National e-services Delivery Assessment (NeSDA) report published by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), Government of India, on Sunday.

This significant accomplishment firmly establishes J&K as the leader among states and union territories in the delivery of e-services.

It was an accomplishment in line with the commitment and resolve of the J&K administration to provide ease, convenience, and accessibility of services to the common man ushering in a new era of digital governance, said Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha while praising the efforts of all departments.
