LG honours the soldier who died in the incident in Kokernag

On September 19 in Srinagar, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha lay a wreath and paid tribute to Sepoy Pardeep Singh, who died in the Anantnag anti-terror operation.

“I humbly acknowledge the heroic bravery and selflessness of our braveheart. His sacrifice left a grateful people forever beholden to him. The Lt. Governor said, “The entire nation firmly stands with his family in this hour of grief.”

Sepoy Pardeep Singh’s lifeless remains will be sent with full military honours to his village for last rites.
