Mughal road closed due to landslide in Poonch

The Mughal route, which connects the Shopian district of the Kashmir Valley with the twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch, was shut down owing to a landslip on Friday, according to the authorities.

According to the authorities, a landslip that occurred as a result of the rain has caused a major road in this hilly area to become inaccessible near Ratta Chamb. They reported that the road was being cleared as quickly as possible with the assistance of both people and machines.

According to the Deputy Superintendent of Police in Surankote, Hamid Ali Bandey, attempts are now being made to restore the route. (GNS)
