Srinagar, September 9: President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference paid respect to party leader and ex-minister Mushtaq Lone on the first anniversary of his death.
When the party head paid respect to Lone, he talked about how he helped the poor and downtrodden gain social and political freedom. A press note said that he said the past of the National Conference was full of great efforts made by people who gave their lives to help society.
“Mushtaq Sahib was a hero in our party who did not care about himself and served the people every day, no matter what. Dr. Farooq said, “In his role as Minister of State for Home Affairs, he did an outstanding job with the utmost dedication and sense of duty.”
In his message, Omar Abdullah said, “The cursed fate of J&K took away many honest party leaders and workers, including the late Mushtaq Sahib.”
