Cars shall be allowed from both sides on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway
Assuming there is no bad weather and the roads are in decent shape, On the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NH. 44), light motor vehicles, passenger cars, and private automobiles would be permitted to go in either direction, that is, from Jammu to Srinagar or vice versa. Commuters are reminded to maintain proper lane discipline.
SSG ROAD (ROUTE)
Movement of vehicles along the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumari route would be permitted from both directions, namely from Srinagar in the direction of Kargil and vice versa, provided that the weather is favourable and the road is in excellent condition. Between the hours of 7:30 and 1100, only LMVs, followed by HIMVs, will be permitted to travel from Minamarg in the direction of Srinagar. There are a lot of similarities.
Between the hours of 1300 and 1700, only LMVs, followed by HMVs, would be permitted to travel from Sonamarg towards Kargil. When the cutoff times have passed, no vehicles will be permitted.
This is the Mughal Road:
Vehicle traffic on the Mughal route will be permitted to go in both directions, from Poonch in the direction of Shopian and vice versa, provided that the weather is clear and the road is in excellent condition. These cars will be permitted to leave Behramgalla (Bufliaz) and Herpora (Shopian) at 0600 hours and remain there until 1800 hours. After the time limit has passed, no vehicles will be permitted.
