Srinagar, Mar. 17: According to authorities, traffic is moving extremely slowly near Dalwas on the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway because of bad surface conditions.
J&K Traffic Police officials urged drivers to stay in their designated lanes and refrain from passing other vehicles since doing so would cause traffic jams and disrupt the regular flow of traffic on the route.
“Due to the single lane and poor surface condition of the road, vehicular movement is very slow at Dalwas on the Jammu-Srinagar NHW,” the authorities said.
They urged passengers to observe lane discipline since passing too closely would cause traffic to jam.
They said that the traffic from yesterday has not yet completely emptied the roadway owing to many road difficulties.
The officers said, “Due to road issues at many places, yesterday’s up HMV’s traffic has not been cleared yet.”
