Pulwama, Dec. 3: At the Pulwama District Police Office, SSP Pulwama Mohd Yousif presided over a meeting on crime and security reviews today.
Addl. SP Pulwama, SP Hqrs Pulwama, DySP DAR, DySP PC Pulwama/Kakapora, SDPO Litter, all SHOs, and Incharge PPs of Police District Pulwama were present at the meeting.
Resolving issues pertaining to the region’s security and police was the main goal of the summit. The topics covered in the discussions included counterterrorism efforts, the settlement of outstanding UAPA/NDPS cases, safeguards for the weak, the collection of intelligence, and tactics to fight cyber and social crimes.
SSP Pulwama underscored the vital need for strengthening the security and counter-insurgency frameworks in their respective domains. The police were instructed to take strong action against illicit mining operations, including sand, minerals, and dirt.
