Kupwara, September 24: Mr. Rustam Ali Khan, a renowned social activist and educator from Halmatpora, formally joined the Peoples Conference (PC) today in a major gathering of committed workers in Kupwara.
An important change in Jammu and Kashmir’s political climate can be seen in the event, which was attended by key PC leaders.
The gathering witnessed the presence of PC President Sajad Gani Lone, Senior Vice President Abdul Gani Vakil, Senior General Secretary Imran Reza Ansari, Chairman Parliamentary Committee Nizam-Ud-Din Bhat, former MLA Adv Bashir Ahmed Dar, State Secretary Farooq Chi Chi Spokesperson Adnan Ashraf Mir, DDC Chairman Irfan Panditpori, DDC Vice Chairman Haji Farooq, and DDC members along with office bearers of Youth PC.
PC President Sajad Gani Lone conveyed his warmest condolences to Rustam Ali Khan and expressed his trust in his dedication to working relentlessly for the welfare of the people of Kupwara.

Speaking at the event, Rustam Ali Khan expressed his happiness at joining the party and reaffirmed his confidence in Sajad Gani Lone’s leadership. He stated his confidence that Mr. Lone is the only president capable of guiding Jammu and Kashmir over the enormous obstacles it faces and providing its people with much-needed relief.
