Senior Superintendent of Police in Anantnag, G V Sundeep Chakravarthy, took up his duties today

Oct. 20: Dr. G. V. Sundeep Chakravarthy officially took over as senior superintendent of police in Anantnag today.

Senior police officials in the district greeted him cordially upon his arrival, and a guard of honour was also presented, according to a statement sent to the Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

A quick but magnificent ceremony was held to pass the reins over to the new SSP, according to the statement.

“On assuming the charge, the new incumbent held an introductory meeting with police officers of the district and impressed upon officers to work with dedication and enthusiasm to mitigate problems faced by community members,” it states (KNO).
