On Monday afternoon, November 13th, authorities in Srinagar reopened traffic on the route between Srinagar and Jammu.
A representative for the Traffic Police Department posted the following on X (formerly known as Twitter): “Traffic update at 1540 hours. On the NH-44, traffic has been largely resumed at the T2 Ramban exit. It is recommended that people maintain proper lane discipline. Congestion may be caused by overtaking other vehicles.”

Earlier, the roadway had to be shut down because of a landslide and shooting stones that occurred near Kelammord.
